Terms of Service

Who runs the service, who may use it, how credits are billed, when we refund, who owns what you generate, and the rules for what you create.

Last updated: 2026-11-04

These terms apply to everyone who uses epivoke.com. By creating an account, generating a video, downloading a file, or buying credits, you agree to them. This page is a placeholder that is rewritten before launch.

Who we are

Epivoke (epivoke.com) is an independently operated online service that turns a topic or a script into a long-form documentary video. "We", "us" and "Epivoke" mean the operator of epivoke.com.

Two mailboxes are monitored, and a person reads both of them:

  • support@epivoke.com — support, billing, refunds, cancellation, privacy questions, data requests, and reports of content that breaks our rules.
  • legal@epivoke.com — legal notices, security reports, and copyright and trademark complaints.

What the service is

Epivoke turns the text and settings you provide into AI-generated videos. It is a software-as-a-service product delivered over the internet. There is nothing to install on our side and nothing is shipped to you. When a payment is confirmed, the credits or plan you bought are added to your account immediately.

What comes out is AI-generated. It may look imperfect, resemble other people's work, or be unsuitable for your purpose, and you should review it before you use or publish it. Results vary between runs. We may change, add or discontinue features, with reasonable notice where that is possible.

AI models we use

Epivoke is built on third-party AI models and services. The current list is kept on this page and updated before a change goes live. The AI providers receive the text and settings a step needs, and process them; that processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Payments are handled by our merchant of record (Waffo Pancake or Creem, as shown at checkout), files are stored on Cloudflare R2, and transactional email is sent through Resend. See the privacy policy for what each of them receives.

Before a request reaches a model, it passes our blocked-terms list and an automated content-safety check. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of the model providers; their names and trademarks belong to them.

Who may use the service

  • 13 and over. You may create an account if you are at least 13 years old.
  • Under 13. The service is not directed at children under 13. A child under 13 may only use it with the verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must create and manage the account and who is responsible for the child's use of it. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13 and was created without that consent, we close it and delete its data (see the privacy policy).
  • Purchases. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian make the purchase, to buy credits or a plan.
  • If the age of digital consent where you live is higher than 13, that age applies instead.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at support@epivoke.com as soon as you notice unauthorized use.

Publishing elsewhere

Anything you publish on another platform is subject to that platform's own terms and community standards, and to its moderation. You are responsible for checking that a video you generate here complies with those rules before you upload it. We have no control over another platform's decisions about your content or your account there, and a moderation action on another platform is not grounds for a refund from us.

Plans, credits and billing

Generating costs credits, and the cost is shown before you generate. Paid options are:

  • Starter, Pro and Studio — subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Each month grants a set number of credits, on yearly plans too.
  • Top-ups — extra credits that subscribers can add to their balance at their plan's price. Nothing renews.

Current prices, credit amounts and what each plan includes are on the pricing page. These billing rules match the refund policy word for word:

Credits. 100 credits make one minute of finished video (premium voices add 10 credits a minute). Credits are held when you start a video and charged when it's generated. If a video fails, every credit comes back.

Rollover. Unused plan credits roll over for one billing cycle, up to one month's allowance. Rolled-over credits are used first. Yearly plans get credits monthly and roll over the same way.

Top-ups. Subscribers can add 1,000 credits at a time: $24 on Starter, $20 on Pro, $18 on Studio. Top-up credits last 12 months.

Cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds. If you haven't used any credits, you can get a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, from Credits & billing. After that, payments aren't refunded, except for duplicate charges.

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes are added at checkout where required.

How payment is taken

Payments are processed by our merchant of record (Waffo Pancake or Creem, as shown at checkout). The merchant of record acts as the reseller of the service to you and handles tax and invoicing, and its buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Your card details go to it and are never stored on our servers; we receive the order result and the payment record it returns. Prices are shown before checkout, and any applicable taxes are added at checkout.

Recurring charges

By starting a Starter, Pro or Studio subscription you authorise the payment processor to charge your payment method the subscription price at the start of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as you chose) automatically, until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Credits & billing, without contacting us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan and your remaining credits until the end of the period you already paid for. If you would rather we cancelled it for you, email support@epivoke.com and we will.

Refunds

The short version; the full policy is on the refund policy page and controls if the two ever differ.

  • A job that fails is refunded automatically. The whole charge returns to your balance without you asking. A rejected request is never charged.
  • First payment. If you haven't used any credits, you can get a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, from Credits & billing. After that, payments aren't refunded, except for duplicate charges.
  • Cancel any time from Settings → Credits & billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Statutory rights. If consumer law where you live gives you a right of withdrawal, nothing here limits it.

For a duplicate charge, email support@epivoke.com from the address on your account with the order number from Settings → Orders. We reply within two business days.

Content rules and moderation

Every request is screened by automated content-safety checks before it reaches a model. Results remain subject to human review after they are made. The full rules are in our Acceptable Use & Content Policy, which forms part of these terms.

You may not generate, or attempt to generate, content that is NSFW, sexual or sexually suggestive, that sexualises or endangers minors, that promotes hate or extremism, that facilitates harm, that impersonates a real person for fraud or harassment, or that copies someone else's copyrighted works. You agree not to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the service. We may reject requests, remove content, and suspend accounts that repeatedly try to route around the screen.

Rules for using output

These rules apply to every video you generate or download here, and they continue to apply after you download a file:

  • No training other AI models. You must not use the service, or any output from it, to train, fine-tune or otherwise improve any other AI model.
  • Lawful, acceptable use. You must use the service and its output in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and with our Acceptable Use & Content Policy.
  • Say that it is AI-generated. Output is machine-generated. When you publish it, follow the disclosure rules of the platform you publish on, and do not present it as something it is not.

How long we keep your files

Generated files are kept for a limited time, so download anything you want to keep. The text and the record of each generation stay in your account history after the files are deleted, so you can see what you made. Details, including what happens when you close your account, are in the privacy policy.

What you generate

  • You own your results. As between you and us, you own the videos and other output you generate, and you may use, modify, publish and monetise them, subject to these terms (including the rules for using output above), to the rules of the platforms you publish on, and to any third-party rights in what you asked for.
  • No exclusivity. AI models can produce similar output for different people. We do not promise that your result is unique, and we cannot give you rights in material that someone else already owns.
  • Our licence to operate the service. You give us a licence to store, process and display your input and results so that we can provide the service to you. Your results are private to your account; our support and review staff can also see them when handling support or content review.

Intellectual property

The site, the software behind it, the Epivoke name and brand, and the content we publish are ours, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output may be imperfect, be unoriginal or be unsuitable for your purpose, and we do not warrant that it will be otherwise.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any action another platform takes on content you publish there.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@epivoke.com and try to resolve the dispute informally first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, announced through the service. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase you already made.
